An Assessed Internship is an excellent way to get to know Shell Trinidad & Tobago Limited from the inside and immerse yourself in our industry.
You’ll join a project team and work alongside Shell employees who are all professionals in their fields. Their perspectives will contribute to your understanding of our business, its demands and rewards.
A supervisor and mentor will support you directly and you’ll undertake regular assessments throughout your internship to ensure you get the most from the experience and receive feedback on your performance.
What we look for:
You’ll be evaluated on your capacity for analysis, decision-making and creating workable solutions, as well as your drive and enthusiasm, resilience and confidence.
During an Assessed Internship, you’ll have a formal mid-term review with your mentor and supervisor. Following this, there will be a final review where you’ll be asked to complete an online simulation exercise and written task. You’ll also be asked to prepare a final presentation about your project.
Succeed in your Assessed Internship and you could be offered a place on the Shell Graduate Programme.

Search for internship opportunities below on this page, then apply and upload your CV.
Step 2 - Online Assessment
Step 2 - Online Assessment
We will review your application before inviting you to complete our online assessment. This starts with a competency-based questionnaire around twenty minutes long. If you successfully complete this part of the assessment, we'll send you an e-invite to part two. This is made up of a decision-making task and a final, timed problem-solving task, which you'll have 18 minutes to complete.

If you make it to the interview stage we will either talk with you over the phone or meet you face-to-face.
Step 4 - Assessed Internship

Passing the interview could see you moving on to the next step, an Assessed Internship. You'll have a mentor and supervisor who will guide you through the process and help you get a clear sense of what it's like to work for our global company. Half way through your internship you'll have a mid-term review followed by a range of exercises that include an online simulation exercise and written task. You'll also prepare a presentation based on the project you've been working on at Shell, before a final review.
